My aim here was to paint a scene and a story, rather than just a picture of the model. Painted in February of 2015. The model is Janet, and the artist in the foreground is Madeline Weibel. The painting is photographed on loose linen but has since been mounted to a panel to make it easier to frame. 8x10”
